Letter To The Editor: Aiden W Photo at the Freedom Fest Banquet

As the founder of Aiden W Photo, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with incredible local partners, including  Quincy Freedom Fest and the Miss Quincy Program.

On January 31st, 2026, local entrepreneurs, volunteers, and community members came together to support Quincy Freedom Fest.

I’ll be honest, I walked into the evening slightly nervous. Like many others, I saw last year's press and wasn’t too sure what to expect.

However, my experience that night was entirely different from my initial thought.

I saw business owners like myself supporting our city. I saw families and volunteers keeping a more than welcome atmosphere. Most importantly, I saw a room focused on fundraising, collaboration, and embracing communitynot division.

To contribute to the banquet, I donated three Aiden W Photo session vouchers to be auctioned during the banquet. My involvement in Freedom Fest doesn’t end there, my interactive booth will be debuting this July at Freedom Fest.

I extend my most sincere love and gratitude to Roni Quinn and Andrea Fisher for fostering an environment where everyone is welcome to grow. No matter the religion, sexual orientation, or political beliefs.

One statement Roni Quinn said that resonated with me was, “We aren’t left. We aren’t right. We are Quincy.”

That statement reflects exactly what I experienced that evening.

Sincerely,

Aiden Wieprecht
